FY 2025 State Operating Funding - PreK - 12 Grade Education
FY 2025 State aid for public schools increases by $439.6 million to $9.1 billion in fiscal*. State aid provided to the local school systems increases by $267.4 million, or 3.4%, while retirement aid increases by $172.2 million, or 23.1%.
* Includes $917,173,759 for Teacher Retirement
FY 2025 State Capital Budget for K-12 Public School Construction is $904 million including:

$314 million for the traditional public school program;

$40 million for Enrollment Growth and Relocatable Classrooms;

$90 million for the Healthy Schools program, with 50% going to Baltimore City;

$6 million for the Aging Schools Program; and
-
$454 million for Built to Learn ($29 million for the PGCPS public-private partnership)
